Guajome Regional Park - A great place to take your dog!

We took our beautiful labrador retriever Gracie camping in the RV to a very dog friendly campground known as Guajome Regional Park.  It's a small campground (only 35 spaces), but the park itself is very spacious with 557 acres!  Guajome Park is about  40 miles north of San Diego and about 7 miles inland of Oceanside.  Each site has electrical and water hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring!  The campground has lots of trails to either go hiking or biking (we did both).  There's a lake for shore fishing, we didn't do that, although, Gracie did try and play with the ducks and geese!  The park itself is just beautiful...wild flowers are everywhere, and the grounds are covered with a mixture of majestic trees, including palms, olive, pine, and maple.  This is just a great place to spend some time with your furry friend.
